Getting your tax on track

If you’re earning lots of money, operating on your own as a sole trader or company director, you need to know how much tax to pay. If you pay too much, you can feel cheated by the system. Pay too little, and you’ll find yourself dealing with HMRC and some potentially serious consequences.

Don’t worry, we’re here to support you – making sure you pay the right amount of tax and stay compliant. We’ll help you hit the fiscal year-end date on the 5th of April each year, as well as the income tax return deadline on the 31st of January. A lot of people miss this, leaving them facing big fines, and even prosecution. Leaving it to the last minute to fill out your forms can often lead to silly errors and paying more tax than you should.

If you’re a company director, we’ll help you report your salary, dividends, pension, and any benefits in kind (BIK). As a sole trader, we’ll help get your business expenses down to a reasonable size to be classed as ‘allowable’.
